What Software Do You Use?
We use industry-standard software like Planswift, Bluebeam, RSMeans, CostWorks, and Microsoft Excel to deliver professional and detailed estimates.
How Do I Send You My Project Plans?
You can upload your plans through our website, email them to us, or send a Google Drive link. PDFs and CAD files are both fine.
What Trades Do You Cover?
We cover all major CSI divisions from sitework and concrete to framing, drywall, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, finishes, and more. Whether your project is residential, commercial, or industrial, we’ve software to deliver accurate takeoffs.
What Happens if I only Have Partial Drawings or Incomplete Plans?
That’s common, we can still provide a preliminary or budget-level estimate based on what you have. If you get updated drawings later, we can revise the estimate.
Are You Available for Evening or Weekend Calls?
Yes, we’re available 24/7. Whenever you need to discuss an estimate day or night, just reach out and we’ll be there to help you.
What Information Do I Need to Send for An Estimate?
We typically need the latest plans or drawings, specifications, scope notes, and any special requirements. The more detailed your info, the more accurate the estimate.
How Do You Deliver the Estimate File?
We deliver estimates in whichever format works best for you Excel, PDFs, or any other format you prefer. Just let us know your requirements when you place the order.
What’s Your Refund or Cancellation Policy?
If you cancel within 24 hours of payment and work hasn’t started, we can issue a full refund. If work has already begun, we’ll refund the unused portion based on the percentage completed.
Do I Need to Pay Upfront Before Work Begins?
Yes. For all one-time or new client projects, we require 100% upfront payment before we begin any estimating work. This helps us lock in your delivery slot and start immediately.
Can You Revise an Estimate if The Project Scope Changes?
Yes. If your scope changes after we deliver the estimate, just send us the updates. We’ll revise quickly and usually at a reduced cost, depending on how big the changes are.
Do You Charge Extra for Revisions at Tyler Estimating?
We offer one round of minor revisions for free. After that, revisions are billed based on the time required. For scope increases or changes to drawings/specs, we’ll send you a revised quote.
Do You Give Discounts for Multiple Projects or Long-Term Clients?
Yes, we offer discounted rates for repeat clients, bulk estimate orders, and long-term contracts. If you’re bidding multiple projects each month, we’ll work out a pricing plan that makes sense.
Is My Project Data Kept Safe with You?
Yes. At Tyler Estimating, we sign NDAs and all project data is kept strictly confidential. We don’t reuse your numbers, share your project details, or work with direct competitors on the same bid.
What Personal Info Do We Collect when You Contact Us?
If you reach out, we may ask for your name, email, phone number, and basic project info. This is strictly to follow up with your estimate request, answer questions, or negotiate terms nothing else.
